BRET MICHAELS Part Of 'Rock Stars Of Science' Campaign
December 15, 2010POISON frontman Bret Michaels is part of the "2010 Rock Stars Of Science" campaign, which is aimed at getting kids and their parents excited about science. The series of ads, which are premiering in December's GQ magazine, pair musicians with scientists, including Nobel Prize winners.
According to USA Today, past years' "Rock Stars Of Science" messages have paired scientists such as National Institutes Of Health chief Francis Collins, an amateur guitarist, with AEROSMITH's Joe Perry, who actually played together.
"I'm willing to pick up a guitar and get on stage with Joe Perry, if that's what it takes," Collins told fellow scientists recently.
